Sherwood becomes open to the public for green fees and Stay & Play.

Richard Homburg takes ownership of Sherwood Golf & Country Club.

Completion of the present layout, a challenging 18-hole course open to play for corporate use.

Meet Our General Manager

Stephen Dowling, Sherwood Golf & Country Club's General Manager, has over four decades of experience in the golf industry. Stephen has been a golf professional since 1979 and has held leadership positions at several clubs throughout the Maritimes, including Woodstock Golf Club, Mill River Golf Club, and Belvedere Golf Club. He has also held important positions in golf education and retail, overseeing the Golf Club Management program at Holland College and running a golf retail and indoor facility. Hired by The Homburg International Group since 2014, Stephen has proudly led  the team at Sherwood, combining his extensive industry knowledge with a passion for creating memorable experiences for both members and guests.
